Youth are Pastoral Priority for Greek Archbishop Ieronymos
Youth and children are pastoral priority for newly elected Greek Archbishop Ieronymos. Soon after his consecration, the Archbishop announced that he would form a youth council within the office of the Archdiocese where youth will have the opportunity to express their ideas regarding the development of church and societal life as well as submitting proposals directly to the Greek Church throne. Archbishop Ieronymos will travel and visit all of the parishes in the Greek capital city unannounced, away from the cameras. He is usually alone during the visits. This week he visited the Athenian Temple dedicated to St. Dimitrij where he spent some time after the Liturgy talking with youth.
