Part of the participants of the ACLA of MOC on a visit to monasteries and churches in the Dioceses of Polog and Kumanovo and Debar and Kičevo

Yesterday, part of the participants at the Archiepiscopal Clergy and Laity Assembly of the Macedonian Orthodox Church from Kališta went on a visit to several significant sights in Western Macedonia, in Mavrovo, Gostivar, Tetovo, and other places. Headed by Metropolitan Cyril of Polog and Kumanovo, Metropolitan Gorazd of Europe, and Metropolitan Agathangel of Bregalnica, the group, which included the dean of the Orthodox Theological Faculty “Saint Clement of Ohrid” from Skopje, the professor Jovan Belčovski, and the participants at the ACLA of MOC from the American-Canadian and European Dioceses, visited the renovated monastery of Saint Athanasius the Great in Lešok and the cenobitic monasteries of Saint John the Baptist (Bigorski) and of the Holy Great-martyr George (Rajčica) in the Diocese of Debar and Kičevo. At the visit to the latter two monasteries, Metropolitan Cyril of Polog and Kumanovo addressed the holy monastic families and the present group of participants at the Assembly.
