Hierarch’s Divine Liturgy in the male monastery in Novo Selo

In the monastery of Saint Anthony the Great in Novo Selo today Metropolitan Nahum of Strumica celebrated Divine Liturgy.
During his sojourn in the desert, the holy Abba Anthony was engulfed in negligence and dark thoughts. So he said to God:
“Lord, I want to be saved, but evil thoughts would not leave me. What shall I do in my misery? How shall I be saved?”
Having looked outside a little, Anthony saw someone same as he, sitting and working, then rising from his work to pray, and again sitting and knitting ropes, then getting up to pray. That was an angel of the Lord sent to help and support Anthony. So he heard the angel saying to him:
“Do this and you will be saved.”
And the one, upon hearing that, felt great joy and courage; and doing that he was saved.
