Baptism ( 07.10.2005 )

On Sunday, October 2, 2005, on the feast of the Assembly of All Macedonian Saints, Metropolitan Nahum of Strumica baptized the child of God Mia in the Skopje church of Saint Parasceva.

“Baptism is mystical participation of man in the death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the image of death – in the baptismal bath – we are united to the risen Lord. With His death he conquers our death; with His Resurrection He gives us the pledge of our resurrection; with His presence within us, with the Holy Spirit, he grants us remission of sins and power to defeat every evil.” (A.
