Easter in Skopje

The greatest Christian feast – The Jesus Christ’s Resurrection in Macedonia, was the most massively celebrated in the capital, Skopje. It happened in the cathedral of Saint Clement from Ohrid. The celebration began at 11.00 PM, one hour before midnight, the celebrator of the service was His Beatitude, the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia Stephan. After the walk around the church of St. Clement, and the announcement of the Graceful News about the Jesus Christ’s Resurrection, a Paschal Liturgy with St. John Chrysostom took place in the church.
