Visit of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God Monastery and the Centre for Rehabilitation and Re-socialisation in Vodoča ( 17.10.2009 )

Today, at October 17th, 2009, in the Monastery Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God in Vodoča village, Metropolitan of Strumica Diocese Nahum received in a visit guests from the Czech Republic – Mr. Kamil Kalina, National Coordinator for Drugs in the Czech Republic Government, Mr. Jiri Richter – Manager of the Therapeutic Association “Sananim” from Prague, accompanied by his associates Mr. Jakub Mlinarik – psychiatrist, Mr. Josef Sedivy – therapist and Pavel Nahzal – therapist from the Therapeutic Association in Karlov. Together with the guests from Czech Republic Bishop Nahum received also Mr. Vlatko Dekov – Executive Manager in “HOPS”, Mr. Christian Jankuloski – Administration and Financial Manager of “HOPS” Mr. Nicola Nedeski – assistant in Damage Restraint in “HOPS”, and the coordinator of the project “Protection” – Mr. Socrat Mancev. Afterwards, all of them together have visited the new-built therapeutic centre “Protection” in the village of Vodoča, in which the establishment of the First Therapeutic Association of Macedonia is pending. In the reconstruction and equipping of the centre, high level standards have been achieved, in the process of rehabilitation and re-socialisation of those addicted to drugs and other diseases of addiction. In this Centre, an activity (working) therapy, other therapeutic and sport activities and will be facilitated to the patients, as well as spiritual life.
