Today in Markov monastery, in the church of the Holy Great-martyr Demetrius, Metropolitan Nahum of Strumica celebrated Divine Liturgy.
“He who does not pray has no power in the fight with the trials. He resembles a soldier without a weapon, a bird without wings, a reed that leans toward wherever the wind blows.”
“When the demons see you praying, they flee as fast as bandits when seeing the soldiers with their weapons.”
“Without a prayer, our spiritual life becomes warn out and dies.”
